DIEX RECHERCHE TO OPEN FOURTH LOCATION! DIEX Research is opening a fourth clinical research center in Quebec in the RCM of Joliette
Sherbrooke, May 12, 2020 – DIEX Recherche is proud to announce the opening of its fourth research center in Quebec. CEO Suzie Talbot made the announcement at DIEX Recherche in Sherbrooke. She insists that it is important to have good news to share these days. The opening of a new center will provide the local population of this beautiful region with innovative clinical trials.
DIEX Recherche Joliette will set up in the premises of the Lanaudière Pneumology and Sleep Clinic. This center is located at 28 Chemin du Golf, Saint-Charles-Borromée. The town of Saint-Charles-Borromée is located about five kilometers from the city of Joliette in the RCM of the same name. Joliette is only 50 minutes away from the north of Montreal. Its southern bounds border on Laval and Montreal. The regular commute between these three cities offers a great opportunity to increase participant recruitment.
This announcement marks the expansion of DIEX Recherche’s activities to a total of four regions of Quebec since gorgeous Lanaudière is joining Estrie, Centre-du-Québec and Capitale Nationale.
This announcement also comes in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. DIEX has high hopes to join forces with various partners to take part in one or more clinical trials connected to COVID-19, whether to find a cure or test a vaccine. Suzie Talbot says clinical research is always vital, but even more so during a pandemic. She adds that the opening of a new center had been in the works for several months. “This opening will allow us to recruit participants in a completely separate population group.” She adds “health indicators often vary significantly from one region to another, which will give DIEX the opportunity to offer different clinical trials from the ones that are ongoing in the three other locations.”
