Fonds de solidarité FTQ Invests €15M in Forbion Capital Fund V Dedicated to Life Sciences
The Fonds de solidarité FTQ ( "Fonds") is renewing its partnership with life sciences venture capital firm Forbion by investing €15 million (C$23 million) in Forbion Capital Fund V.
The Forbion funds have invested in such Québec companies as enGene and Milestone Pharmaceuticals, and recently led a $US35 million Series B financing round in Montréal-based Inversago Pharma.

The Fonds de solidarité FTQ has invested $1.6 billion since 1989 to support the Québec life sciences sector. Today, the Fonds' life sciences team consists of nine members, including a senior scientific advisor. The team invests directly in companies as well as in specialized life sciences investment funds.
