A Successful 4th Edition of the Sweet BioPharma Day
The fourth edition of the Biopharm-à-sucre Day, successfully concluded on October 9th at Espace Tonik in Sainte-Julie, once again demonstrated the vitality and collaborative spirit of the Quebec biopharmaceutical industry. Organized by adMare BioInnovations, AmorChem, BIOQuébec, CQDM, and the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, this event brought together 16 innovative companies to present their projects before a prestigious audience of influential industry representatives.
More than just a networking event, Biopharm-à-sucre Day is a true showcase for the talent and creativity flourishing within Quebec's biopharmaceutical ecosystem. The 16 presentations by participating companies, as well as the dynamic and inspiring exchanges, highlighted innovative solutions ready to address the current challenges of the sector and transform ideas into concrete opportunities.
Highlights of the Day
Neuropeutics Inc. particularly stood out during this edition by winning the Sweet 16 Best Presentation Award of $5,000, as well as the Centre d'expertise et de recherche appliquée en sciences pharmaceutiques – CERASP Award of $3,000 in services, presented by Christophe Brun-Baronnat, and the CQIB, Quebec Life Sciences Incubator & Accelerator Award of $1,500 in services, presented by Eric de Gheldere. Another notable moment was the recognition of SeraGene Therapeutics, represented by Erika Siren, which won the Coup de Cœur Award of $3,000, as well as the CQIB Award of $1,500 in services, presented by Inès Holzbaur, for the originality and impact of their proposal.
